Cookie Policy

Clear, transparent information about how HassTagg uses cookies, local browser storage, and ad technologies to monetize and operate.

Privacy-Preserving Monetization

We run advertisements to keep our serverless utilities 100% free for everyone.

Local Browser Processing

Your files never touch our servers. Storage stays in your local browser sandbox.

01. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, personalize content, and provide analytics data to site owners.

02. Local Storage & Session Storage

Unlike standard database backends, HassTagg operates entirely inside your local browser memory sandbox. To provide standard conveniences, we utilize the browser's Web Storage API (LocalStorage and SessionStorage) to store:

  • Theme settings (e.g., preserving Dark/Light mode preferences)
  • Recent inputs, parameters, or settings in generator templates (e.g., CSS properties, SVG settings)
  • Active workspace state (e.g. tracking loaded file counts locally)

Note: We cannot access this local browser data. It resides entirely on your device and can be wiped instantly by clearing your browser's site cookies and local storage.

03. Third-Party Advertising Cookies

HassTagg is supported through advertisement monetization. We work with third-party advertising partners who place cookies to serve relevant ads on our website.

These advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, and related tracking scripts to collect non-personal information about your visits to HassTagg and other websites to optimize ads.

04. Google AdSense & DoubleClick DART Cookies

Google is one of our primary third-party ad vendors. Google uses DoubleClick DART cookies to serve ads to our users based on their visit to HassTagg and other sites on the internet.

Google's Ad Personalization Policy:

Users may opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting the Google Ads Settings Page. You may also opt-out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting AboutAds.info.

05. How to Manage and Disable Cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies.

  • Browser Settings: You can block or delete cookies directly inside your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.).
  • Ad Opt-Out: Visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out page at optout.networkadvertising.org to restrict tracking across third-party networks.
  • Clear Local Cache: Regularly clearing browser caches will delete all saved LocalStorage preferences from HassTagg.

06. GDPR & CCPA Rights

Users located in the European Union (under GDPR) and California (under CCPA/CPRA) have explicit rights regarding data privacy.

Since our core utility tools operate entirely on your browser client-side, HassTagg does not collect, sell, lease, or distribute personal information. For cookie tracking served by Google AdSense, a consent modal is presented to EU users, allowing you to customize your preferences before any tracking is initialized.

07. Policy Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our advertising configurations or compliance guidelines. Please check this page regularly to stay informed.
